The L3 Leadership Incubator creates an environment in which spiritual leaders and ideas are born, nurtured, and developed.  Meeting over the course of eighteen months, six to twelve leaders will focus on their spiritual growth, leadership skills, and the development of an Incubator Ministry Action Plan (I-MAP) for their ministry.

What do leaders agree to do?

1. They commit to learning together over the course of 18 months.
2. In loving support, they hold each other accountable for spiritual growth, personal piety, and leadership development.
3. They give themselves to God in worship, prayer, and Christian conversation.
4. They learn a process that will teach them how to create a strategic plan for their ministry.

What is the goal of the L3 Leadership Incubator?

The goal is to develop leaders who can create disciple-making faith communities.  As it says in Matthew 28:19-20,  “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”  This is true whether you are the pastor of a congregation, a lay person in ministry at a church, or in the leadership of a judicatory. One of the underlying premises is that every person has a capacity to be a leader, whether it is in the church, work, community, or at home.
